Citalopram Day 2

So, day two of the citalopram and it’s started to screw with my digestive system. On day one, my stomach felt a bit weird. Now we’re on day two and that’s become diarrhea (sertraline had similar effects). Less dizziness today, but more of the faux-highness. If you’ve ever taken hallucinogenic drugs, it’s like that stage of tension as you’re coming up, but before the walls start to melt and beautiful geometric patterns go wheeling across your vision. More nervous energy and a lack of concentration.

I’m chewing gum like a raver at the moment. Colours look very bright. My mood seems to have improved a bit though.

This blog has charted my journey from mental illness, through diagnosis and, recently, into recovery. It's not always easy, but then, what is?
